Today iPhone cases are everywhere and the consumer is truly spoilt for choice. But most cases can be unreasonably expensive. Thus, the Armor range of cases from Opt makes a welcomed appearance for iPhone users.

The Armor comes in three styles: Armor, Game Type Armor and Premium Armor.

The standard Armor (RM70) and Game Type Armor (RM82) look like leather but they're not. The thick and well constructed cases simply snap around your iPhone 3G or 3Gs. A flap fully covers the screen and clips over the top, providing secure protection.

Even though the sides of the iPhone is exposed, the corners are well-protected so you don't have to worry if you accidentally drop your phone.

Apart from protecting the front of the iPhone, the flap serves two other functions: the inside material is made of microfibre and can be used to wipe clean the screen. It can also be flipped back to act as a stand. However, when I tried to do this it didn't seem to work because the flap didn't stay folded. Perhaps it was still new and needed some time for it to be supple enough.

The Game Type Armor has a special feature which is the flap being detachable. This allows you to play games (in landscape mode) easily with two hands.

The third type of case is the Premium Armor and as the name implies it's the top of the range (RM100), being made from real leather. The most expensive version in this range is the Black Croc which retails at RM120.

Whichever version you go for, the Armor is a nice durable case. It feels good to hold. Best of all, it's very affordable - it's even cheaper than other cases made of poorer quality.

The Armor is available in a variety of colours such as black, white, red, brown, silver and grey.
