Mariner Software Releases Contour 1.0

Mariner Software, developers and publishers of professional and personal software, announced today the release of Contour 1.0, the story development software for Mac OS X and the newest product in Mariner's award-winning line of personal creativity software.

Developed in collaboration with Emmy Award-nominated Jeffrey Alan Schechter, Contour is a proven story development system that streamlines the process of turning movie ideas from first glimmer to full outline. The Contour story development system teaches the writer how to use the same character-based structure that all blockbuster movies use to create solid stories from Fade In to Fade Out. With its intuitive, fill-in-the-blanks approach, Contour shows exactly what elements need to be in a script, never leaving the question, "what comes next?" Contour also seamlessly integrates with Montage, Mariner Software's popular screenwriting software.

Contour is now available on the Mariner Software web site. The shipping version will initially be offered in English and sell for $49.95USD ($44.95 download). An exclusive upgrade path for all TotallyWrite registered users is also available through Mariner Software. Support for more languages is expected in the near future. Contour requires Mac OS 10.4.9 or higher.
